185-MW Glacier Sands wind project reaches commercial operations in Illinois

By WPED Staff Cordelio Power‘s 185-MW Glacier Sands wind project has reached commercial operations. The project, located in Mason County, Illinois, is composed of 43 Vestas V150-4.3 wind turbines and will sell 100% of its renewable energy under a 15-year contract with Microsoft.
