2015-2017 Nissan Leaf recalled over air bag problems

By Editorial Staff Nissan is recalling certain 2015-2017 LEAF and 2014, 2016 and 2017 Sentra vehicles.
Due to a manufacturing error within the air bag inflators, the passenger frontal air bag may not properly deploy in the event of a crash.
The defect has been tied to supplier Daicel, a Kentucky-based company and affects a total of 25,283 units.
The problem was discovered during routine tests run by Daicel. To date, Nissan says that it knows of no real-world incidents in which passenger-side air bags have improperly deployed.
