65-kW Solect Energy system to cover 100% of a sprinkler company’s electrical needs

By Kelly Pickerel Northeast Automatic Sprinkler Company, a leader in fire suppression systems based in Kingston, Massachusetts, has partnered with Solect Energy to install a 65-kW solar energy system on the roof of its headquarters. The solar array consists of 210 PV panels and is expected to produce 61,900 kWh of energy annually. Northeast projects that the array will cover 100% of its primary facility’s energy needs, and 100% of at least one other building through net metering.
