By Michelle Froese ACCIONA Energy, a global operator of renewable energy projects, inaugurated the 93-MW San Roman Wind Farm — the company’s eighth wind farm in Texas. Located near Brownsville, Texas and equipped with 31 AW125/3000 turbines manufactured by ACCIONA Windpower (Nordex Group), San Roman wind brings the company’s total U.S. wind capacity to 721 MW. Each turbine has a 125-m diameter rotor on 87.5-m high (hub height) steel tower.
