Alfa Romeo Developing Full-Size SUV With 400 HP Hybrid Powertrain

By Sam McEachern Alfa Romeo is working on a new full-size SUV with a 400 hp hybrid powertrain, according to a new report. In a recent interview with the United Kingdom’s AutoExpress, Alfa Romeo technical boss Roberto Fedeli hinted the automaker is working on a large SUV that would utilize the Giorgio platform that currently underpins the Stelvio and Giulia. Fedeli also made mention of a 48-volt hybrid system for the yet-to-be-named vehicle, which would come in the way of a so-called “e-turbo.”
