Alta Motors Teases Road-Legal, Battery Powered Motorcycle

By Joel Patel The small segment of electrified motorcycles is about to get a large spark, as Alta Motors, once known as Zero Motorcycle, plans to come out with a new concept – an electric street tracker that will be road legal.
The San Francisco, Calif.-based company, already offers two electric models – the Redshift MX (motocross) and SM (supermoto) – and plans to add the Redshift ST concept to its lineup, which it will bring to The One Moto Show in Portland, Ore., reports Autoblog.
