Atlantic Renewable begins construction of its fifth wind farm in Brazil

By Michelle Froese In June of 2016, Atlantic Renewable Energies started the construction of Lagoa do Barro Wind Farm Complex, in Piaui state, Brazil, a development expected to cost R$1.3 billion. At full operating capacity, it will have eight wind farms with installed capacity of 195 MW, generated by 65 wind-generators in an area of 2,854 hectares.
