How safe? It is the first all-electric vehicle for 2017 to win am IIHS Top Safety Pick, and the new compact crossover rolling out nationwide this year did so by earning “good” ratings in all five of the IIHS’ crashworthiness tests.
These tests are the small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraints. Putting it over the top is an optional front crash protection system which is required by IHHS to earn its Top Safety
