By Evan Williams A new report from Germany unveils accusations against Daimler of selling more than one million cars with excessive exhaust emissions.
The Mercedes-Benz models were sold in the U.S. and Europe between 2008 and 2016, according to a report from German newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung.
The report comes after the paper uncovered a search warrant from the District Court of Stuttgart. The warrant lead to a raid involving 230 officers and 23 prosecutors last May. That search resulted from allegations of possible emissions defeat devices in Daimler vehicles.
