Developer seeks ‘retention’ of unauthorised wind masts #IRL

By National Wind Watch Developers behind plans to build Ireland’s largest wind farm are seeking ‘retention’ permission for two unauthorised masts near Killygordon. Over the last two years, Planree Ltd erected the 80 metre (262) steel structures at Lismulladuff and Ballyarrell Mountain (Cornashesk) to gather data for the proposed 49 turbine Carrickaduff Wind Farm. Following complaints by local residents, Donegal County Council referred the matter to An Bord Pleanala (ABP), asking it to decide whether or not the masts were exempt from planning permission. . . .
