E.ON starts construction on 200-MW Cranell wind farm in Texas

By Michelle Froese E.ON announced the 200-MW Cranell wind farm in Refugio County, Texas, is now under construction and that the company expects to commission the project before the end of 2019.
The new 220-MW project will bring E.ON’s total Texas generation capacity to the 3-GW mark.
“We’re excited to announce another one of the projects in our Texas coastal pipeline is under construction and will be brought online this year,” said Silvia Ortin, Chief Operating Officer North America. “We look forward to the creation of local, high-paying jobs during our operation phase and the chance to employ 200 to 300 people during the construction
