EDF EN Canada and MD1 Wind LP dedicate Quebec’s Mont Rothery wind project

By Michelle Froese EDF EN Canada Inc., a subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, and MD1 Wind LP, a limited partnership formed by a consortium of four affiliated entities of the Desjardins Group (including Desjardins Group Pension Plan and Manulife Financial Corporation), along with about 70 attendees, have dedicated the 74-MW Mont Rothery Wind Project.
Located on public lands in the MRC of Haute-Gaspésie and MRC of Côte-de-Gaspé, Mont-Rothery generates enough clean electricity to meet the needs of about 15,000 Quebec homes.
