Faraday Future Taps LG Chem to Provide Batteries for its Electric Cars

By Larry E. Hall Secretive electric car startup Faraday Future yesterday announced that it had partnered with LG Chem to supply lithium-ion cells for its future battery electric cars.
The Chinese-owned California-based electric car company made a splash at the Consumer Electronics Show in January by showing its FFZero1, a 1,000 horsepower concept that can jet from 0 to 60 mph in less than three seconds.
The concept is the only car that has been shown, but spy photographs suggest the company has more conventional styled vehicles in the works.
