Fluvanna I Wind Farm is up & running in Texas

By Michelle Froese TERNA ENERGY, a member of the GEK TERNA Group, announced the completion and start of commercial operations of the Fluvanna I Wind farm in Scurry County, Texas. Its construction began in December 2016, and was completed in less than 12 months.
The 155.4-MW Texas wind farm is made up of 74 Siemens Gamesa turbines at 2.1 MW each.
Fluvanna I has a total capacity of 155.4 MW and consists of 74, 2.1-MW Siemens Gamesa wind turbines. The wind farm will deliver green electricity into the Texas Interconnection power grid and supply more than 46,000 homes.
