By Kelsey Misbrener According to the Wall Street Journal, former Sunrun sales managers said they were told by their superiors to manipulate sales numbers by not reporting customer cancellations for about a five-month period in mid-2015. The news comes a few weeks after Sunrun shareholders filed a class action suit “for alleged violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by Sunrun’s officers and directors,” per a press release from the law firm representing the shareholders.
