Goldwind secures financing for 160-MW Rattlesnake wind project in Texas

By Michelle Froese Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology Co. announced that it has received tax equity financing commitments, from MidAmerican Wind Tax Equity Holdings and Citi, for the 160-MW Rattlesnake Wind Project in McCulloch County, Texas.
Once operational, the 160-MW Rattlesnake Wind Project represents Goldwind’s largest U.S. wind project to date.
The $250 million Rattlesnake Wind Project uses 64 Goldwind GW 109/2.5MW PMDD wind turbines, and will bring significant economic benefit to the community of McCulloch County. It will support about 250 well-paying construction and service-related jobs.
