Holloman Air Force Base going solar with 5-MW array

By Kelly Pickerel The United States Air Force and El Paso Electric (EPE) have begun construction on a new 5-MW facility to serve Holloman Air Force Base (HAFB). The solar plant will be an EPE owned dedicated energy resource for HAFB and is the first renewable energy project that EPE will build to serve a military installation.
