HSGS to Maintain Solar Arrays at Yosemite National Park

By Kathie Zipp The National Park Service has selected Hannah Solar Government Services (HSGS), out of Charleston, SC, to perform preventative maintenance services on various arrays totaling 672 kilowatts (kW) located at the El Portal Maintenance Complex in California’s Yosemite National Park. The systems were built in 2011 and were, at the time, the largest solar project the National Park Service had ever built.
HSGS will inspect the systems, test the performance of each array, and wash the solar panels which may have collected dust and pollen over the years. The solar panels are warrantied for 25 years from the date of installation and
