Hyundai Already Plans a Big Range Increase for Ioniq EV

By Stephen Elmer Hyundai plans to release its all-electric Ioniq before the end of 2016 and the brand already has plans to boost its range straight away.
According to the director of Hyundai’s eco-vehicles Ahn Byung-ki, the Ioniq will be able to travel more than 200 miles by 2018. When it launches early next year, the Ioniq will be able to go just 124 miles on a single charge, but changes will come swiftly to Hyundai’s newest eco-friendly vehicle.
