IEA awarded two new Texas wind-power contracts

Construction company, Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives (IEA), announced two new wind energy project awards valued at about $150 million. EDF Renewables North America is the lead developer on both projects, which include:
1. Las Majadas Wind Farm in Willacy County in, southern Texas. This will be an approximate 272-MW project that is expected to provide enough energy to power up to 77,000 average Texas homes. The power generated by the project’s planned 125
