Jaguar All-Electric Sedan and SUV Approved, Supercar Plan Axed

By Larry E. Hall Last March, Jaguar’s design head Ian Callum said that within two years the company would have something not powered by a gasoline engine available in the lineup.
Now, according to Automobile magazine, the Tata-owned British automaker will have two of those somethings in the lineup: a battery-electric large luxury sedan and an all-electric small crossover SUV.
This shift in plans called for abandoning plans of the C-X75 supercar, known as the Spectre after its cameo role in the most recent 007 movie.
