January 2017 Plug-in Vehicle Sales

Sales of the all-electric Nissan LEAF totaled 772 units, up 2.3% compared to January of 2016 when Nissan sold 755 LEAF EV’s. Last year, 14,006 Nissan LEAFs were sold, which is down by 18.9% compared with 2015 when 17,269 were sold. Nissan introduced the 2016 all-electric LEAF with an available 30 kWh battery that provides an EPA-estimated range of 107 miles – a 27-percent increase
