JinkoSolar confirms plan to build panel manufacturing plant in Florida

China-based JinkoSolar has long been assumed to be the company behind Jacksonville, Florida’s “Project Volt.” The secretive business plan said a panel manufacturer wished to open a facility in the area and hire as many as 800 people by 2019 to make and assemble solar products. Jacksonville City Council approved up to $24.6 million in tax incentives last week.
