Karma Opens Technical Center In Michigan To Recruit Automotive Engineers

By Jon LeSage Karma Automotive has opened up a new technical center in Troy, Mich., to tap into automotive engineering expertise.
The maker of the newly launched Revero luxury plug-in hybrid has 36 employees in place to work at this facility, with the goal of expanding to 150 employees within three years. The company thinks its technical center will be growing fast, and that it’s a smart location to set up shop.
“Detroit is the center of engineering expertise for the automotive industry, so it makes sense for us to have an office here,” said Scott Sabin, director, Troy Technical Center.
