Land Rover to Reveal a Range Rover PHEV Any Day Now

By Ray Prince Land Rover is clocking overtime to introduce its latest plug-in hybrid, the Range Rover PHEV, by the end of 2017.
According to Autocar, the Range Rover PHEV’s specifications include a 2.0-liter Ingenium four-cylinder gas engine for 295 horsepower with its electric motor contributing 201 horsepower, providing approximately 30 miles of electric-only range under European testing. This drivetrain will be shared by the regular Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models, as confirmed by CEO Ralf Speth at last September’s Frankfurt Motor Show (image is of the 2018 Range Rover Velar).
