By Evan Williams Mercedes-Benz is dropping the B-Class Electric Drive, in favor of focusing on a new generation of compacts and the EQ brand.
Confirmation of the death of the electrified version of the compact not-quite-a-minivan was give by Mercedes-Benz USA spokesperson Rob Moran to Automotive News. Moran said that production of the slow-selling electric car would end in the third quarter of this year.
