Mongolia’s 50-MW Tsetsii Wind Farm begins commercial operations

Located in the Gobi desert, the Tsetsii Wind Farm has officially begun commercial operations three months ahead of the previously scheduled launch date.
Mongolia faces significant challenges in meeting its growing demand for electricity, almost all of which is currently met by aging and polluting coal-fired plants.
