Ohio suspends hearing for Seneca Wind Farm

By Michelle Froese The Ohio Power Siting Board (OOSB) has suspended the hearings scheduled in the Seneca Wind Farm case, including the public hearing previously set for April 23 and the evidentiary hearing set to begin May 16.
Seneca Wind is a proposed 212-MW wind farm that would be built on about 56,900 acres of privately-leased land, with us to 77 wind turbines. The project would span the townships of Scipio, Reed, Venice, Eden, and Bloom in Seneca County, Ohio.
The project is expected to provide significant economic stimulus to the area during construction and long-term economic benefits through lease revenue to local landowners
