Porsche confirmed to Motoring.au that the Cayenne will be adopting the new hybrid powertrain, which has a total system output of 680 horsepower and 628 pounds-feet of torque. It is comprised of a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 paired to an electric motor.
In the Panamera, the Turbo S E-Hybrid sends the car to 62 mph from a stand still in 3.4 seconds, while top speed is limited to 193 mph.
