Senvion wins 30-MW EPC project from Engie

By Michelle Froese Senvion, a global manufacturer of wind turbines, has been awarded a 30-MW onshore wind project from Engie – a clean energy company, to deliver the Tithwa Project (won through Gujarat state competitive reverse auctions), as a sign of growing emphasis on renewable energy in India.
The project will comprise of 13 Senvion 2.3M120 turbines at a 120m height, which will produce enough clean energy to supply the power needs of almost 33,000 Indian homes.
