Solaria is suing Korean equipment manufacturer for breach of license agreement

By Kelly Pickerel Solaria Corporation, a global provider of solar module technologies, filed suit against Genesem, Inc., a Korean equipment manufacturer licensed by Solaria, on March 1, 2018 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
The lawsuit seeks damages and injunctive relief for breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets, conversion, unjust enrichment, constructive trust and unfair competition. Among other things, Solaria seeks transfer of the patents obtained by Genesem and the technology derived from the government grant to Solaria.
