Stop-Sale On Prius Ordered By Toyota

Along with ordering its dealers to stop selling the 2016-2017 Prius, Toyota is also recalling 91,585 units in the U.S. for parking brakes that may fail to engage. The new 2016-2017 Prius has a foot-operated parking brake with a tension cable that could possibly detach from the rear brake calipers, according to filings with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The automaker first discovered the problem in May, following a U.S. dealer’s report on a failure.
