By Kelly Pickerel Syncarpha Capital has selected The Ryan Company to build three community solar PV facilities in Massachusetts, that will be located on a portion of the land owned by Hancock Shaker Village, a nonprofit organization, in the Town of Hancock and the City of Pittsfield in Berkshire County.
The three solar facilities have been co-developed by Syncarpha and Renewable Energy Massachusetts LLC. In the aggregate, the facilities will total 7 MW and will be interconnected to the Eversource Energy – Western Massachusetts Electric Company (Eversource/WMECO) electrical distribution system.
