Urban Grid, Universal Renewables complete three solar projects in Washington, D.C.

By Kelly Pickerel Urban Grid Holdings, a developer and financier of solar projects throughout the United States, has announced the completion of three projects totaling 511 kW of solar energy in Washington D.C. These three projects represent the first phase of a 1,228-kW portfolio on seven Charter schools, with the remaining installations to be completed in early summer.
This first phase of installations includes a 211.2-kW roof-mounted solar array at Blow Pierce Junior Academy, a 151.8-kW roof-mounted array at Chamberlain Elementary and Middle, and a 148.5-kW roof-mounted array at Woodridge International.
