Venture capital funding for storage, smart grid and efficiency companies jumps

Venture capital (VC) funding (including private equity and corporate venture capital) for Battery Storage companies jumped in Q2 2017 to $422 million in 10 deals compared to $58 million in eight deals in Q1 2017 due to a very large funding deal.
